Victor Model P Phonograph

The Victor Model "P" series of phonographs were used as premiums for the purchase of goods or services. There were three models all different in styles, Model P, P2, P3. This model "P" uses a very plain oak case similar to a Victor model "Z", with the motor and arm assembly from a Victor "R", this allowed the use of the larger horn than what was used on the model "R".

This is an early example, notice the "pre dog" ID tag and the record hold down. These were usually not used past 1902.
