Victor CD-60

The Victor CD-60, Counter Top Demonstrator, was used in record stores to allow customers to listen to a record before they bought it. It was advertised to supplement the existing record stores listening booth. There is no amplification, a earpiece was driven directly from the output voltage of the pickup.

The CD-60 was the dual turntable model, a single turntable model (CD-20) also was produced. Only a few hundred of these were produced, this one is serial number 591 manufactured in late 1927. The dealer cost was $87.00
